Focaccia with tomatoes – in 3 steps

3 steps, but an amazing taste! An amazing italian focaccia, filled with moisture and cloudy soft!

Ingredients
  

Focaccia

  • 500 g Strong Bread Flour (if you want half can be fine semolina flour)
  • 1 Bag Dried Yeast
  • 5 g Fine Salt
  • 10 g Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 200 g Water
  • 200 g Sugar

Toppings

  • Cherry/Small Plum tomatoes
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Rosemary
  • Oregano
  • Coarse Salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix the ingredients all together – just putting salt and yeast far away in the order. Knead it the dough until a smooth texture. Cover with cling film.
  • Wait until the dough rise (approx. 2hours) . Now with your fingers and a little bit of oil spread it on a baking tray covered by baking paper. Add the coarse salt, rosemary, oregano and the tomatoes cut in half. Let it rise it again for 1 more hour.
  • Put it in the oven and turn it on –  25/30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius if fan oven /200 degrees Celsius if static (no fan).
