I love crostata, it is one of those things that make you smile when you get up early in the week. The taste of the jam and the butter tart with a scent of lemon are the best match. Not mentioning that it made me win a baking competition in my last job 😉

You can use any jam you like, I had one home-made, but I would advice to use a blackberries or raspberries one. They taste lovely with the lemony base of it. If you do not have lemon, try with some orange zest, or with both, and tell me how your taste buds react!

Instructions
  1. Put all the ingredients except the jam in the mixer. Turn on the mixer for 4 minutes and slow it down with time.
  2. Once it has got the right consistency (see the video), drop the dough on a plate and make a ball out of it. Put cling film around and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  3. After 30 minutes take the dough out of the fridge and make a 1-2 cm layer with it. Unroll it on the buttered and floured baking tray.
  4. Create a base and drop into it the jam, levelling it out.
  5. Make some decorations with the remaining dough.
  6. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
  7. Enjoy!
